We want to be sure we can continue to do this so we are looking to add to our team! Doctor of Veterinary Medicine - DVM

We are eager to grow our all star lineup of doctors. We are looking for someone who not only loves animals, but someone who also loves to help their people too. Whether you're an experienced DVM looking for a change of pace and fresh start or a new DVM wanting to get your feet wet and learn from the “Best”, we are the perfect hospital for you.

This position is perfect for you if you love people and excel at getting to know unique things about them and their pets. We want someone who knows how to make pets and their people comfortable.

Our hospital is a family-friendly atmosphere with a small-town feel. Our clients expect and should receive the “Best” in patient care. Our days in the hospital are busy but not chaotic. What we do is very rewarding and we always mix in fun.

Our team has a vibrant energy and we are looking for someone to fit in seamlessly with that energy.  We are looking for people who have a can-do attitude, are fun, and have a willingness to try new things. 

REQUIRED SKILL SETS

You are not afraid to talk to anyone, even the clients who may be struggling and are not in a good mood. You know how to serve customers to provide a great experience.

Communication skills are HUGE - you must be able to communicate with your team so that everyone is on the same page and can fulfill the mission of the hospital. This means not being afraid to talk to people, knowing or being willing to learn how to communicate effectively and in a balanced way.

You must have exceptional patient care skills but also excellent communication skills to pass along directions for other staff members to carry out and understand the client needs and co-worker expectations. This role requires good patient handling skills and a scientific mind for the detailed tasks that are required. We are looking for a person with exceptional knowledge who is respectful and can work as a team player to provide the best level of care. Must be willing to learn and be open to new ways of thinking and working so that the mission of caring for the pet is the focus.

A majority of the current team started at the beginning (kennel attendants) and worked their way up - including doctors and all of the management team.

Salary starting $115-140,000; Sign on bonus negotiable
