What You'll Do

As a Veterinary Technician Assistant Cardiology , you will support the cardiology team in delivering efficient, compassionate care through advanced diagnostics, appointments, and follow-up support. In this role, you will:

  • Assist with patient appointments , including obtaining histories and supporting exams
  • Help with diagnostic procedures such as echocardiograms, ECGs, and thoracic radiographs
  • Restrain and handle canine and feline patients safely and confidently
  • Assist with medication administration, patient monitoring , and outpatient treatments
  • Provide patient care responsibilities including husbandry, laundry, walking dogs, and cleaning kennels
  • Communicate with clients clearly and compassionately , including patient updates and discharge instructions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in exam rooms and shared areas
  • Help stock supplies and assist with department scheduling and patient flow
  • Accurately document care and communication in medical records

Anticipated Schedule

This is a full-time position with the following available schedule:

  • Mondays and Tuesdays: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM and Wednesday-Friday: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Compensation

  • Starts at $19.00/hr
