General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing high-quality, progressive veterinary care and is currently hiring for a part-time Associate Veterinarian. This well-established small animal practice treats companion animals and is known for its individualized approach to medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. There are no weekend or after-hours requirements. The role is part-time and offers a schedule that supports a strong work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for examining animals to assess their health and diagnose medical conditions, treating wounds, performing surgeries, testing for and vaccinating against diseases, operating medical equipment, prescribing medications, and advising clients on general care and treatments. The role involves close collaboration with the veterinary team to ensure high standards of patient care. This opportunity is open to candidates who are comfortable working in a team-focused and supportive clinical environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
