Introduction
Our client is a multi-specialty animal hospital caring for a wide range of species from dogs and cats to rabbits, ferrets, birds, turtles, snakes, and various other pocket pets and reptiles is currently seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian.
Working Hours / Rota
This full-time position follows the hospitals published hours: Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 7 pm, Saturday from 7:30 am to 6 pm, and Sunday from 8:30 am to 6 pm. The role is aligned with these opening hours, with no routine after-hours or overnight shifts, and weekend duties rotate among the clinical team to ensure balanced coverage.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will carry a full general practice caseload, performing wellness exams, preventive care, soft-tissue and orthopedic surgeries, dentistry, and diagnostic workups. Youll guide pet owners through treatment plans, interpret in-house imaging studies, and collaborate with specialists when advanced care is required. This opportunity is open to both experienced clinicians and new graduates eager to grow their skills.
Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with premier, state-of-the-art technology, including ultrasound, CT, DR radiology, a full dental suite, and a water treadmill. In-house diagnostic capabilities extend to tonometry and comprehensive laboratory services. Client offerings span dental care, cryosurgery, wellness packages for dogs and cats, cardiology services (echocardiology, electrocardiology, Holter monitoring, thoracic CT), vaccinations, rehabilitation, microchipping, boarding, daycare, and bathing.
Team
Youll join a collaborative group of eight DVMs plus a board-certified surgeon, supported by a tenured, experienced support staff dedicated to mentorship and high-quality patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
