General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a companion animal hospital currently seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The practice primarily serves dogs (64%) and cats (35%), with a small caseload of pocket pets (1%).

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with working hours aligned to the hospitals schedule: Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM. The hospital is closed on weekends, and there are no after-hours or emergency coverage requirements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will carry full general practice responsibilities, including preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. The role supports both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering a well-rounded clinical experience in a supportive environment.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with full diagnostic capabilities including IDEXX VetLab (Catalyst One, Procyte, Sedivue, SNAP Pro), digital radiographs, dental radiographs, and ultrasound. Advanced treatment options such as Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), oxygen cages, and integrative medicine are also available. While the hospitals primary focus is preventive and wellness care, they also offer imaging, soft tissue surgery, dental procedures, and pain management. The location is further supported by access to multiple emergency and specialty-service hospitals within 60 miles.

Team
The team consists of three DVMs and ten support staff members. The environment is collaborative and inclusive, offering mentorship and support to all levels of experience.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
