General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care for cats and dogs. The position can be structured as full-time or part-time, with scheduling to be discussed to suit the successful candidate.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm and is currently closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Exact hours and shift patterns will be finalized in consultation with the new doctor, with flexibility for either full-time or part-time employment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will perform comprehensive physical examinations and wellness screenings, diagnose and treat medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses, and use advanced diagnostic techniques grounded in evidence-based medicine. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with responsibilities spanning general practice and advanced medical care.

Practice Details
This Fear-Free, AAHA, and Feline Veterinary Medical Association accredited hospital is supported by world-class medicine, modern technology, and a highly trained team. Equipment includes a cold laser, ultrasound, digital radiography and dental radiography, Tonopen, full in-house diagnostics, and laboratory capabilities. Services offered encompass advanced dental care and surgery, cold laser therapy, ultrasound, acupuncture, preventive and primary care, health certificates, hospitalization, oxygen therapy, and transfusion therapy.

Team
The medical staff consists of two DVMs supported by eleven team members in a collaborative environment focused on mentoring, patient safety, and excellent client service.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
