General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their hybrid general practice and urgent care facility. The hospital serves cats, dogs, pocket pets, and rabbits, with a rotating shift schedule that includes weekends to support extended hours of care.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time role with rotating shifts, including weekends. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will perform comprehensive physical examinations and wellness screenings, and will diagnose and treat medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses using evidence-based medicine and advanced diagnostic techniques. This position supports both general practice and urgent care caseloads.

Practice Details
The hospital is Fear-Free accredited, AAHA accredited, and affiliated with the Feline Veterinary Medical Association. It is equipped with ultrasound, dental radiography, hands-free radiology, a STORZ endoscope, full diagnostics, in-house endoscopy, laboratory capabilities, an in-office surgery suite, and oxygen and transfusion therapy. The practice provides both preventative and advanced surgical services, including laser surgery. It operates as a general practice and urgent care hybrid, offering extended urgent care hours and close coordination with referring veterinarians to deliver superior care.

Team
The team includes 4 DVMs, two of whom are skilled in exotics. Each doctor is supported by a dedicated assistant for appointments, a full treatment staff, and a designated surgery technician (RVT), fostering a collaborative and well-supported clinical environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
