General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team in delivering high-quality care to cats, dogs, pocket pets, and rabbits. The hospital offers a welcoming and modern environment, with scheduling to be discussed based on mutual availability.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position, with hours to be discussed. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Sunday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will perform comprehensive physical examinations and wellness screenings, diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses using evidence-based medicine and advanced diagnostic techniques. This position is open to experienced veterinarians only.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and Fear Free certified, and has been operating since 1988. It features a stunning design with 40-foot-high ceilings and abundant natural light throughout. The facility is well-equipped with a full in-house laboratory, ultrasound, digital x-ray systems, surgical laser, cold laser therapy, a fully equipped dental suite, and a fully equipped surgical suite. Services offered include preventive medicine, dental and surgical care, cardiology, dermatology, laser surgery, ophthalmology, ultrasound, cryosurgery, cold laser therapy, and Tonopen diagnostics.

Team
The hospital is home to 3 DVMs and 5 support staff who work in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
