What You’ll Do

As an Emergency Veterinarian at Lenity, you’ll play a vital role in providing life-saving care for pets in critical need. You’ll have the autonomy to practice medicine your way, backed by a skilled team and advanced tools.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Diagnosing and managing a wide range of emergency cases

• Providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients and clients

• Performing emergency procedures and stabilizing critical cases

• Collaborating with specialists in surgery, internal medicine, anesthesia, and critical care

• Utilizing state-of-the-art tools including CT, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and in-house lab

• Developing diagnostic and treatment plans for diverse patient needs

• Communicating clearly with pet owners and colleagues

• Mentoring and supporting veterinary team members

• Contributing to a positive, growth-focused team culture

• Participating in rounds, case discussions, and continuous learning

• Adapting to a dynamic caseload in a fast-paced, supportive environment

What We’re Looking For

• DVM (or equivalent) degree

• Active California veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain)

• 1+ years of experience in emergency or critical care preferred

• Commitment to practicing high-quality, patient-centered medicine

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• A growth mindset and a passion for learning

• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts (day, evening, or overnight)

• Desire to contribute to a positive, team-centered culture
