General Practice (Medical Director Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a hospital serving small animals, is currently seeking a Medical Director/Chief of Staff to lead their team in Dunwoody (Atlanta), GA. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinarian who is passionate about leadership, mentoring, and practicing high-quality medicine in a modern and supportive environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Thursday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. It is closed on weekends. The hospital are looking for a full-time doctor.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This leadership role includes all typical GP duties and responsibilities, alongside overseeing the medical team, mentoring veterinarians, and guiding clinical decision-making. The hospital supports a doctor-centric approach, allowing autonomy in practicing medicine with administrative support readily available.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with a full in-house lab suite, digital radiography, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, digital dental x-ray, high-speed dental equipment, a modern surgical suite, and isolation rooms. The brand-new, well-designed facility is built to be warm and inviting for both pets and clients. Wellness plans are emphasized to promote lifelong patient health and strengthen client relationships.

Team
The hospital is a multi doctor hospital with an environment that is described as doctor-led and supportive, with a focus on collaboration, autonomy, and mentorship.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
