General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a modern veterinary hospital in Pass Christian, MS, currently hiring a compassionate Part-Time Veterinarian to join their thriving small animal practice. This multi-doctor clinic serves cats and dogs and is committed to providing high-quality, personalized care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM. It is closed on weekends. This is a part-time position with a focus on maintaining work-life balance through manageable scheduling.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will be responsible for all typical GP duties and responsibilities, including wellness care, dental care, surgeries, diagnostics, urgent care, end-of-life care, client education, and preventative medicine. The role supports both experienced veterinarians and those looking to grow professionally through mentorship and continuing education opportunities.

Practice Details
The facility features three exam rooms, digital X-ray, ultrasound, surgical laser, dental equipment, a dedicated surgical suite, in-house labs, and an in-house pharmacy. Services offered include wellness care, dental care, surgery, diagnostics, end-of-life care, urgent care, pharmacy, nutrition counseling, laboratory testing, and microchipping. The caseload is varied, and the practice culture emphasizes high standards of care, professional development, and a positive workplace.

You would be joining a multi-doctor team supported by experienced and passionate staff in a collaborative, mentorship-focused environment. The team is dedicated to fostering both clinical excellence and individual growth, while prioritizing a balanced and fulfilling work experience.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
