As a veterinarian in our new state of the art hospital (opening June 20, 2025) you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to a variety of companion animals and provide small animal care.
-Conduct thorough examinations of animals and diagnose illnesses or injuries
- Develop and implement treatment plans for companion animals based on their conditions
- Train to perform or perform surgical procedures, such as spaying/neutering, pyometras, tumor removals, eye enucliations,
- Administer vaccinations and medications to prevent and treat diseases
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care, including nutrition, exercise, and grooming
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine through continuing education ```Requirements```
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school - Valid state veterinary license
- Proficiency in animal catheterization, animal restraint, and general animal care techniques.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively educate pet owners
- Ability to handle dogs and other animals with care and compassion
- Knowledge of practice management software Clinic HQ is preferred, but not required
