General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a full-service small animal hospital that provides comprehensive veterinary care for cats and dogs. They are currently hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their multi-doctor team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, providing flexibility with no weekend shifts required. The position offers full-time or part-time scheduling options to support a balanced and adaptable work routine.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will perform day-to-day general practice duties, including physical examinations, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care tailored to each patients lifestyle and environment. The role requires proficiency in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry, including routine and complex procedures such as spays/neuters, abdominal exploratories, mass removals, and full dental evaluations with radiographic interpretation. Experience is preferred, but new graduates seeking mentorship are encouraged to apply.

Practice Details
This full-service hospital provides a wide range of services, including vaccinations, wellness check-ups, illness and injury treatment, imaging, surgery, dentistry, and prescription medications. The hospital is outfitted with high-quality equipment such as ultrasound in every location, heated hydraulic surgery tables, and digital diagnostic radiography (DDXR), ensuring that veterinarians have the tools they need to deliver exceptional care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
