General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that has been caring for beloved pets and their owners in Lees Summit and the surrounding communities for more than 20 years. They are dedicated to delivering the most comprehensive health care possible to each patient, with the goal of achieving the highest quality of life. They are currently seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital primarily sees cats and dogs, with some rabbits and small mammals seen at the doctors discretion.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. It is closed on Sundays. The Associate Veterinarian position is full-time only, with a schedule of four working days per week and rotating Saturdays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This is a full general practice role, and the ideal candidate will be experienced and comfortable performing surgery. The position is not open to new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital features clean and spacious facilities, including a welcoming reception and waiting room, radiology and surgery areas, and an onsite pharmacy. These features help ensure a positive and efficient experience for both clients and patients.

Team
The hospital team includes four DVMs, supported by staff who are committed to practicing the highest moral and ethical standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
