VCA Mill Run Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant!

Schedule: Full-time opportunity with some weekend shifts. 5 x 8 hour shifts.

Position Overview:

As a Veterinary Assistant, you will support our technicians and doctors by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent-by delivering an outstanding client experience-so we can provide exceptional care to every patient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in patient exams and routine procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.

• Take detailed medical histories and patient vitals.

• Perform laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.

• Provide compassionate care for hospitalized animals.

• Maintain accurate medical records.

• Ensure a clean and safe hospital environment.

• Assist with surgical preparation and patient recovery.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 6+ months of previous experience as a veterinary assistant.
