About the Role

As a General Practice Veterinarian, you will provide comprehensive medical care to small animals, exotics, and avian patients in a collaborative and well-equipped hospital. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting routine wellness exams, diagnostics, and medical treatments.
• Performing general surgery and/or dentistry.
• Collaborating with a team of experienced veterinarians, including specialists in acupuncture, orthopedics, internal medicine, and exotic animal care.
• Engaging in hands-on professional development opportunities with in-house training, mentorship, and CE programs.
• Providing exceptional client education and patient care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited university (or equivalent).
• Active New York veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Experience in companion animal wellness and preventive care medicine.
• Skilled in general surgery and/or general dentistry.
• Commitment to high-quality veterinary medicine and ethical standards.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with fellow doctors, staff, and leadership.
