About the Role
As a General Practice Veterinarian, you will provide exceptional medical and surgical care to companion animals in a collaborative, supportive environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing routine wellness exams, diagnostics, and medical treatments.
- Conducting general surgery and dentistry.
- Educating pet owners on preventive medicine and treatment plans.
- Collaborating with veterinary professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Staying updated with continuing education and advancements in veterinary medicine.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited program.
- Active Texas veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Experience in companion animal wellness, preventive care, and client communication.
- Competence or interest in general surgery, with a desire to advance surgical expertise.
- Commitment to high medical standards and ethical veterinary practices.
