Awesome Doggies Mobile Pet Grooming is looking for kind-hearted miracle workers to join our team and learn the art of pet grooming! No experience? No problem! We provide full training and all the gear you need to make tails wag and fur shine. In this pawsome Apprenticeship role, you'll start by learning from the best before showing off your skills one day a week solo and another day with a pro groomer. Expect to work 20 hours a week, including one weekday and Saturdays. Your pay will be $17.25 per hour plus overtime (since we work 10 hour shifts, we pay time and a half after 8 hours each day), plus tips. You can expect to work in North County as well as central San Diego and East County. What You'll Be Doing: Sparkle & Shine: Keep our mobile salon sparkling clean and safe, creating a cozy retreat for all our furry clients. Grooming Guru: Bathe, trim, and pamper pets like a prowhether you're working with a trainer or taking the reins solo. Nail & Ear Extraordinaire: Provide nail trims, ear cleaning, and all those little touches that make pets look and feel fabulous. Pet Handling Hero: Handle and maneuver animals with the gentleness of a cuddle and the expertise of a seasoned pro. Record Keeper: Maintain accurate records of grooming servicesbecause every pet's journey is unique! Client Communicator: Chat with clients to understand their pet's preferences and ensure they leave with smiles and wagging tails.
