Associate Veterinarian

Located in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area, this general practice is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian. CPAH is a full-service, AAHA Accredited, Fear Free general veterinary practice that also includes a rehabilitation center and urgent care facility.

At CPAH, we provide an excellent education to owners about their cherished pet's conditions and treatment needs. We pride ourselves on the close relationships we have with our clients and their animal companions. The hospital is owned under a new partnership model and this role would offer the opportunity of equity ownership to the right candidate. Our mission is to become the most respected general practice in the Vancouver area and your leadership would be at the center of achieving that goal.

As an Associate Doctor, you will work with the medical team and owners on both on-going care and long-term decision making regarding medical standards and services. You will be the immediate supervisor of the veterinary and nursing staff. As a potential owning partner in the practice, you will be central to forming the future strategy and direction of the hospital.

The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills for complex medical cases, but also enjoy and value the importance of essential preventive care. In addition, our candidate should have confidence and experience in surgery and dentistry, including oral surgical skills.
