General Practice (Veterinarian)

A privately owned, busy small animal hospital is looking for a veterinarian to join its dedicated team. The hospital currently has one doctor and 1215 support staff, offering a strong, collaborative environment with an excellent client base. While the focus is on small animals, there is the opportunity to see pocket pets and exotics if desired. The current veterinarian performs orthopedic surgeries, and the hospital is equipped with digital radiography, in-house Abaxis labs, and electronic medical records. There are two exam rooms, and while there is no on-site ultrasound, a specialist regularly visits to provide this service. Appointments are scheduled in 15-minute increments, but there is flexibility to adjust this based on the doctors preferences and case complexity. The ideal candidate will have some experience and be comfortable working independently at times, though the hospital is also open to mentoring a new graduate. The position can be full-time or part-time, with flexible scheduling. The hospital is open seven days a week, but doctors do not work Sundays, and Saturday shifts (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) are typically shared on a rotating basis.
