Veterinary Technician

We are a small family-oriented hospital who are looking to add a veterinary technician or assistant to our team. We are a close-knit group who like to have fun as well as support and empower each other. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years’ experience including iv placement, phlebotomy, in-house bloodwork, surgery including dentistry, anesthesia, radiography, client communication and education and a high standard of patient care.

Responsibilities for Veterinary Assistant/Technician

• Assist veterinarians with phlebotomy procedures and patient care tasks.
• Handle animals with care and restraint during examinations and treatments.
• Utilize veterinary terminology and anatomy knowledge to support medical procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the veterinary clinic or hospital.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.
• Continuously improve skills and stay updated on industry best practices.
