Our Veterinary Technicians play a critical role in the continued success of this practice collaborating closely with our veterinarians overseeing care of our patients from clinic visits, surgeries, and emergencies.

Essential Skills

• Communication/client relations – obtain patient history, triage, attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Collect samples for in-house diagnostics or to outsourced labs.
• Perform dental prophylaxis, oral exams, dental radiographs.
• Administer medications, vaccines and implement treatment plans.
• General knowledge of x-rays, products and procedures offered through the hospital.
• Venipuncture, IV catheter placement
• Responsible for inducing and maintaining general anesthesia (induction, intubation, monitoring, recovery)
