Orting Animal Hospital in January 2022. Our state of the art facility offers six large exam rooms, surgery suite, radiology suite, large treatment area with four wet tablets, large employee break room, and a well-appointed doctor’s office for calls and charts. The Associate DVM will have clinical responsibility for the care of patients in all areas.

Skills and Basic Qualifications

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in multi DVM practice.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in Washington state.
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Works collaboratively with hospital team members.
  • Make decisions confidently and effectively.
  • Manages time and tasks appropriately.
  • Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients.
  • Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth.
  • Strong surgical and dental skills are preferred.
