If you are seeking a new opportunity to create lasting relationships with your patients and the time to do it, we want to hear from you! We need help to give comfort and peace of mind to our clients and their pets, so we are seeking a PT or FT Associate Veterinarian to expand our team.

Practice Overview:

Our thriving, single-doctor, small animal practice is in Southeastern Wisconsin.  We provide a safe working environment in a quaint, small town that is ripe for growth. You can enjoy budget-friendly living with easy commuting access between Milwaukee and Chicago.

What we do every day strengthens the quality and longevity of our clients’ relationship with their pets. Our team takes pride in the time we spend with our clients to get to know them and their pets.  We  provide care specific to the pet’s needs and the client’s expectations based on your recommendations, without the pressure and expectations of a corporate-owned practice.  We are currently doing our part to stay safe during the pandemic by providing curbside service with telemedicine capability, or by allowing one client per pet in the hospital, escorted into one of three exam/consultation rooms.  

Veterinarian Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and examining patients, and diagnosing their medical issues.
  • Conducting laboratory tests on patients to diagnose medical conditions.
  • Performing diagnostic imaging and ultrasound tests.
  • Operating radiographic and ultrasound equipment to conduct further diagnostic testing.
  • Performing surgery, dressing and treating wounds, and prescribing medication.
  • Advising pet owners on proper aftercare following surgeries and medical procedures.
  • Promoting preventative care by advocating and administering routine vaccinations, and by educating clients on positive diet and lifestyle choices for pets.
  • Improving patients’ dental health by performing checkups, and cleaning and extracting teeth.
  • Euthanizing patients.
  • Ensuring compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintaining patients’ medical records utilizing .


Our ideal team member will be a licensed veterinarian, accredited for small animals in the state of Wisconsin. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Our associate veterinarian will have the benefit of mentoring by our founder, a UW Madison grad himself, who is experienced in general practice surgery as well as some advance orthopedic procedure. Our ideal team member will have an interest is expanding ultrasound imaging and diagnostic skills. Our new doctor will need to be available to work at least three full days per week and two, half-day Saturdays each month.
