Location

We are located in Princeton, Indiana, which is north of Evansville and just under 100 miles from Louisville, KY. Our area is known for rich farmlands and proximity to the Ohio River. If you enjoy the outdoors, then you’ll love exploring Patoka River National Wildlife Refuge, Brown County State Park, or the Kentucky Lakes. If you enjoy taking weekend trips with friends and family, then Indianapolis, St. Louis and Nashville are all just a quick drive away too!

 

Practice Overview

Princeton Veterinary Hospital has been a proud member of the community since it opened its doors in 1955. Our practice building underwent a major renovation in 2010, and we are getting ready to renovate and expand again early in 2022. We are a family-owned mixed animal practice. We operate on a mix of scheduled surgeries, walk-ins, and emergency visits. Our goal is to deliver excellent customer service by providing passionate patient care. We believe that collaboration and mentorship will deliver the best outcomes. We understand the value of work-life balance and are a tight-knit team full of big personalities. We love to joke around and have fun while working! Not only that, but we thrive on providing a family-like atmosphere for both our team and clients.

 

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of animal cases
  • Provide education to clients and staff on recommendations and choices in care
  • Maintain a positive work environment
  • Guide, utilize and mentor exceptional support staff

 

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
  • Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Indiana
  • Some experience is preferred, but new grads are encouraged to apply
  • Interest in practicing in small animal medicine
  • Interest in practicing some mixed animal medicine
  • Training and mentorship in surgical skills is available
  • Highly motivated, with a desire to be amazing
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and personal development
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated compassion for patients and clients
  • Ability to collaborate and work within a team environment
