KAH is housed in a 6,000-sq. ft. facility in a fantastic area of St. Louis County. Our clients treat their pets as cherished members of their family, which in turn allows us to practice exemplary veterinary medicine. We have developed an exceptional clientele over the past 30yrs; many families in their third generation at our Hospital. Our professional and paraprofessional staff are highly skilled and great team members. Many have been with us for 10 to over 30 years. Our staff of 6 doctors are excellent small animal practitioners, highly skilled in both medicine and surgery. Our Medical Director, Dr. Sarah Hormuth, has been with KAH for 34 yrs.
40 hour work week with a predictable schedule: 5 days one week, 4 days the next. No emergency calls. Saturday hours only until 1:00 pm. Paid vacation in accordance with experience. Growth development provided with CE locally and nationally. One to two technicians assigned per doctor to provide a consistent partner. Training and efficiency improvement is covered with weekly staff and doctor meetings. We have a commitment to community events, providing service and events with Kirkwood Canine Officers. Regular assessment meetings to ensure continued communication with the Medical Director. We boast state of the art equipment, including a Wisonic Navi Ultrasound with telemetry service. This is to complement local radiologists’ services. We are located 13 minutes from the closest specialty service, thus complementing our mission statement of excellence in medicine, surgery and service.

Dues will be paid for annual state and federal narcotics licenses.
