Boundary Bay Veterinary Specialty Hospital is seeking veterinary technicians to work with our board-certified specialists. We are looking for individuals who are interested in a 1-2 year work contract in Canada (With the option to live/work in Bellingham, WA or just outside of Vancouver, BC Canada)

We offer flexible scheduling, an outstanding compensation package including shift differentials, CE allowance, extended health, dental, disability and life insurance (for Canadian residents).  Furry family members benefit from a staff pet discount on food and products.

HOURLY WAGE - $21-30/hr (CAN) depending upon experience


Boundary Bay Veterinary Specialty Hospital (BBVSH) has board-certified specialists in Surgery, Oncology, Neurology, Critical Care and Internal Medicine. Each department works collaboratively with other services within BBVSH, as well as accepting referrals from other specialty and general practices.

Veterinary Technicians will have access to up to date patient care technologies such as:

•       Electronic ICU flow sheets with anesthesia monitoring record integration
•       Synder Oxygen cage
•       CT scanner & MRI
•       Minimally - invasive surgery
•       High flow nasal oxygen

A successful candidate will have:

•       The desire to work cohesively with a team of doctors and assistants
•       An attention to detail as well as be able to multi-task
•       Great people skills and comfortably able to communicate with staff & clients alike
