We are seeking a board certified or board eligible internist to join our small animal internal medicine practice located in Manassas, Virginia, just outside the Washington, DC/Metro Area and near the Shenandoah Valley. The area offers you opportunities to enjoy the arts, festivals, historic landmarks and city life. You will also have the chance to escape to the rural areas nearby for wineries, hiking, camping, fishing and to appreciate the natural beauty.
Our practice was established in 1989 and is part of the Veterinary Referral Center of Northern Virginia, 8614 Centreville Road, Manassas, VA 20110. The referral center provides services in internal medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, emergency services and behavioral medicine.
Our internal medicine practice has 3 full-time and 1 part-time internists. Our internists perform abdominal and cardiac ultrasounds, upper and lower GI endoscopy, esophageal and gastric foreign body removals, bronchoscopy, laparoscopy, rhinoscopy, cystoscopy, chemotherapy and bone marrow aspirates. Our internists also maintain strong relationships with 5 other local specialty centers.
Our practice is honored to have committed internists and long-term senior staff that enjoy one another, work closely together and have formed strong relationships with our referring veterinarians to make sure the patient receives the best standard of care. Our current internists have been with us for 19 years, 7 years and 2.5 years and enjoy the ability to work and think independently. They are supported by 4 Licensed Veterinary Technicians and multiple assistants.
