General Practice (Medical Director Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinary Medical Director to lead their team in delivering high-quality care for a wide range of patients, including primarily cats and dogs, as well as birds, ferrets, guinea pigs, pocket pets, and rabbits. This leadership opportunity offers full-time scheduling.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on weekends.

Role Description and Responsibilities
A Veterinary Medical Directors primary clinical responsibility is to oversee and ensure the quality and safety of patient care. This includes managing the clinical team, developing and implementing clinical strategies, and overseeing all aspects of patient care. They also ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. This role is open to experienced candidates only.

Practice Details
The hospital features advanced facilities and technology, including rigid endoscopy, in-house Idexx chemistry/UA and snap readers, in-house Abaxis CBC, digital dental and digital radiography, and hands-free radiology. Services offered include dermatology, diagnostic imaging, digital radiology, soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, preventative and primary care, and ZooMED animal care.

Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs, 2 registered veterinary technicians, 1 assistant, and additional support staff dedicated to overseeing client care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
