Ready for something new? Maybe our new is YOU!
Do you love patient care and performing anesthesia but are not in an environment that fills your tank? Are you looking for a change in weather? ....What about working with a team that encourages and supports each other in critical thinking while feeling appreciated by management and doctors? Or, how about having a guaranteed three days off in a row every week with a set schedule?!?! If you answered “Yes!” to any of those questions, Pet Dental Center may be just the change you’re looking for!
We are seeking an enthusiastic veterinary technician to join our team and fill one of our Anesthesia Technician roles. We are a highly specialized veterinary practice that offers a wide scope of dentistry and oral surgical services for dogs and cats in beautiful Bonita Springs, Florida. Pet Dental Center is owned and operated by Dr. Wade Gingerich who is southwest Florida’s only board certified specialist in dentistry and oral surgery. We are looking for a committed, motivated technician who will pursue our unrivaled level of patient care and contribute to the elevated client experience that is the PDC standard. Cutting edge treatments such as root canal therapy, periodontal surgery, orthodontic treatments, jaw fracture repair and -ectomies are just a few of the procedures performed in our energetic work environment. These treatments are paired with advanced anesthesia techniques including multimodal analgesia that is customized to each patient. We do not feel it is fair to make a pet live with chronic dental pain and infection because they are considered an increased risk for anesthesia. PDC specializes in providing high level anesthesia care for geriatric pets and those with heart, kidney, liver, neurologic, diabetes and Cushing’s diseases. We value the importance of having state of the art equipment and monitoring parameters in order to execute these procedures safely! All you anesthesia geeks, we support you! You’re pretty cool in our book.
This role is ideally filled by a VTS in anesthesia and analgesia or someone that is actively working towards their credentialing. We are open to considering a certified technician who has at least three years’ experience in hospitalized patient care and monitoring anesthesia. Our ideal cultural fit is the individual that is humble, wanting to grow, highly values client connection and teamwork and is passionate about improving the lives of pets, one tooth at a time!
Believing in individualized care does not stop with our patients and clients. We believe in taking care of our team’s individual needs as well. At PDC we are open to catering each team member’s benefits package to what best fits their lifestyle. Base benefits on top of compensation include:
•Continuing Education allowance
•401k and Profit Sharing
•PTO and Holiday Pay
•Local gym membership
•Reimbursements for licensing renewals and membership dues •Annual Uniform Allowances
We live in an amazingly beautiful area! Desirable areas come along with higher costs of living. We believe it is important for our team to have work/personal life balance and the less stressed you are outside of work, the happier you will be AT work. That being said, we proudly compensate our team members competitively.
Let’s get to know each other if this position interests you! Please send your resume and cover letter to Danielle, our Practice Manager.
