We are a friendly, well established, neighborly pet practice located 3 blocks from the ocean looking for a can-do experienced receptionist/assistant to join our team working 30-40 hours per week (including shared weekends). We may be able to accommodate two employees so if there is a receptionist and a patient care duo package please apply!
Your position would be to be responsible to perform a detailed job description of receptionist duties including but not limited to client communications, patient check-in/check-out, answering phones, filing, obtaining patient history, scheduling appointments, dispensing medications, preparing laboratory samples, general cleaning, business promotion and training. You may be involved in providing some assistance to the staff technicians for administering treatments and getting patients prepared for surgery.
Qualifications: A MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE working in this position in a veterinary practice is preferred.
