St. Francis Animal Hospital is a well-established, full-service, small animal, veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, preventative, surgical, and dental care to the St. Francis, Cudahy, and West Milwaukee areas. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local board specialists when special diagnostic procedures are required. Our facility includes laser therapy, in-house surgery suite, in-house digital x-ray capabilities, ultrasound, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas.
At the St. Francis Animal Hospital, we strive to offer not only sound advice, but also optimal veterinary care, thus allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for a maximum number of years. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn't feeling well, but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy.

Summary: A certified veterinary technician must be able to provide leadership and training to the medical support staff in the operation of a small animal facility in accordance with hospital policy and procedures and provide medical care to patients as allowed in the veterinary practice act.
While under the supervision of the technical supervisor, hospital manager, the hospital director, and the managing owners, a veterinary technician must be able to effectively and accurately perform the following duties that include but are not limited to:
