FT Veterinary Practice Manager: A Caring Vet Hospital, Lindon Utah
Come be a part of a busy, growing, compassionate, veterinary hospital that strives to provide the best medical, dental, behavioral and surgical care possible in a stress and fear free environment for staff, clients and pets. We work hard to build, and maintain, our relationships with clients and their pets, as well as our team members. We treat dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, rabbits, rodents, reptiles, hedgehogs, sugar gliders and occasional wildlife.
We need to add an experienced, full time veterinary practice manager to our well trained and experienced support staff. While certification is not required for this position, it is preferred. If the successful applicant is not certified, they will be expected to pursue certification with the VHMA over time. This position will require at least 1-2 years experience in similar positions. This position will be responsible for overseeing all day to day, business related management issues of the hospital. You will not be expected to do everything, but to see that everything is being done. There is a good sized list of duties that are specific to this position, but most of them are office work, not directly patient or client related. This is a salary position, evening and weekend work at odd hours, often unpredictable, will be expected.
Applicants do not need experience with non-traditional species. Applicants need to be able to collaborate in providing an excellent level of professional medical care and client service, and to push the boundaries of excellence forward, while overseeing business management issues such as human resources, advertising, computer networking, accounts receivable, inventory management and purchasing, financial reporting and budgeting, working hand-in-hand with support staff. Compensation is competitive, based on experience and performance, with growth possible. Our hospital is open 10 hours a day, from 8 am to 6 pm Monday through Saturday. Come join us if you want to be part of the future of veterinary medicine in Utah Valley!

We recognize a veterinary hospital is not defined by the building it is in, but by the caring people who work there. We focus on training our staff, and maintaining our staff relationships with a welcoming, fun-loving, flexible environment for staff, clients, and patients. We also recognize a comfortable balance between work and life allows everyone to do their best in both work, and life.
