General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Serving the Catonsville community and surrounding areas, this practice combines the warmth of a family-oriented clinic with the benefits of modern facilities, providing high-quality, comprehensive care for cats and dogs.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm, Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with Sundays closed. Associate Veterinarians enjoy a consistent schedule of four weekdays and two Saturdays per month, offering a balanced routine with a built-in weekday off to recharge or attend to personal matters.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a full range of general practice services including wellness and preventive care, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, and internal medicine. With access to rehabilitation services such as an indoor pool and underwater treadmill, as well as acupuncture, this role offers opportunities to deliver innovative and integrative care. The position is suited for veterinarians who value collaboration, client communication, and a supportive teaching environment.

The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including a dedicated rehabilitation department, an indoor pool with an underwater treadmill, and a modern surgical and dental suite. Additional services include acupuncture, rehabilitation therapy, and a pet hotel with capacity to board up to 40 dogs and 10 cats. An adoption initiative has also been introduced, helping connect rescue cats with loving families. Candidate Requirements

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
