About the Role

As a Veterinary Technician, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients. From assisting with exams and surgeries to performing lab work and client education, you’ll be a valued part of a tight-knit team that truly cares.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during medical exams, procedures, and surgeries
• Perform diagnostic tests, bloodwork, and digital radiographs
• Monitor anesthesia and surgical recovery
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
• Communicate with clients about patient care and wellness plans
• Maintain accurate medical records and help keep the clinic clean and organized

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience preferred, or new graduates with hands-on clinical training through their coursework
• Strong animal handling and technical skills (venipuncture, IV catheter placement, etc.)
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• A passion for animal care and a strong work ethic
• Ability to stay calm, compassionate, and efficient in a fast-paced clinical setting

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Location: Wellfleet, MA 02667 (Cape Cod)
• Pay Range: $25–$28/hour (based on experience and qualifications)
• Experience Level: 1–3 years preferred, new grads with hands-on training welcome
