General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a privately owned, growing, well-equipped small animal clinic seeking a passionate and driven Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The clinic is dedicated to providing high-quality care for cats and dogs and is currently hiring to support its continued growth.

Working Hours / Rota
The clinic is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, and Saturday from 8am to 12pm. It is closed on Sundays. The Associate Veterinarians schedule is flexible, typically consisting of four weekdays and two half Saturdays per month. Appointments are scheduled for 20 to 30 minutes for wellness exams and 30 minutes to one hour for sick visits, with an emphasis on client communication. Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This is a full-service general practice role. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with both medicine and basic soft-tissue surgery. While mentorship in orthopedics is available, it is not a requirement for the position. The opportunity is open to both recent graduates seeking mentorship and experienced DVMs eager to work in a supportive environment. The clinic fosters a collaborative, family-oriented atmosphere with a strong focus on work-life balance and professional development, supported by experienced doctors and a network of 14 affiliated clinics.

Practice Details
The clinic offers advanced orthopedic surgery and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, in-house labs, Ligasure, cautery, full-scale monitoring, and Bair Hugger. A skilled team of technicians manages most non-medical tasks, enabling doctors to concentrate on clinical care. The clinic provides full-service general practice veterinary care.

Team
The team includes two full-time DVMs and one part-time DVM, each with a dedicated technician, supported by multiple floaters. The practice maintains a collaborative and mentoring-focused environment.
