Introduction
Our client is a privately owned, well-established, family-run veterinary hospital located in Fullerton, CA. Since 1982, this clinic has been providing high-quality veterinary care to dogs and cats, with the added flexibility of treating exotics and pocket pets if the veterinarian has an interest. They are currently hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their friendly and expanding team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on Sundays. The position offers flexible scheduling and is open to both full-time and part-time applicants, with a minimum commitment of two days per week. Specific doctor hours will be discussed individually during the application process.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive veterinary care, including surgery, dental care, wellness exams, and internal medicine. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering a great opportunity for mentorship and professional growth.

Practice Details
The hospital has been serving the Fullerton community for over 40 years and is equipped with advanced technology such as digital and dental x-rays, ultrasound, laser therapy, in-house diagnostics, and an electronic records system. The hospital offers a wide range of services including dental care, surgery, and house call visits. With a strong focus on preventative care, the clinic emphasizes routine wellness checks and annual blood profiles to ensure long-term health for its patients. The hospital is currently undergoing expansion to a 10,000 sq. ft. facility with 7 exam rooms, and has plans to reinstate ER services in the future.

Team
The team currently includes 2.5 DVMs, 3 technicians, and 5 support staff members. The work environment is known for being supportive and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on mentorship and low staff turnover. The team-oriented culture makes it an ideal setting for both seasoned professionals and those just beginning their careers in veterinary medicine.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
