Introduction
Our client is a modern veterinary hospital in Pass Christian, MS, currently hiring a driven Medical Director to join their thriving small animal practice. This multi-doctor clinic serves cats and dogs and is committed to providing high-quality, personalized care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM. It is closed on weekends. This is a part-time position with a focus on maintaining work-life balance through manageable scheduling.

Role Description and Responsibilities
Medical Directors dedicate over 90% of their time to practicing medicine, allowing them to stay fully engaged in patient care while leading the team. A mix of responsibilities includes but is not limited to mentoring veterinarians and support staff, ensuring a level of patient care, wellness appointments, surgeries, and dental care.

Practice Details
The facility features three exam rooms, digital X-ray, ultrasound, surgical laser, dental equipment, a dedicated surgical suite, in-house labs, and an in-house pharmacy. Services offered include wellness care, dental care, surgery, diagnostics, end-of-life care, urgent care, pharmacy, nutrition counseling, laboratory testing, and microchipping. The caseload is varied, and the practice culture emphasizes high standards of care, professional development, and a positive workplace.

You would be joining a multi-doctor team supported by experienced and passionate staff in a collaborative, mentorship-focused environment. The team is dedicated to fostering both clinical excellence and individual growth while prioritizing a balanced and fulfilling work experience.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
