General Practice (Veterinarian)

Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their growing small animal general practice located in Boynton Beach, Florida. This is a well-established, community-focused clinic that operates in conjunction with a nearby sister facility, offering added flexibility and collaborative support. The team is passionate about delivering high-quality medical care while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm and on Saturdays from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm. The position offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time schedules, with no mention of after-hours coverage, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for all duties associated with a general practice veterinarian, including wellness care, surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, and client education. The role provides flexibility to focus on specific clinical interests, whether surgical, dental, or preventive care. This opportunity is open to both experienced doctors and new graduates, with a strong support system in place to foster professional development.

Practice Details
This full-service general practice also provides orthopedic surgical services and operates across two fully equipped locations. One facility includes a full boarding area, four exam rooms, and a dedicated dental suite, while the second offers a more intimate setting with two exam rooms and a comprehensive treatment area. Both locations are outfitted for surgical and dental procedures. The practice culture emphasizes collaboration and continuity of care within a modern, well-supported infrastructure.

Team
The veterinary team includes two DVMs currently at this location, and five across both sites, supported by a tenured and skilled group of veterinary assistants and a total of 26 staff members. The environment is known for its low turnover and collaborative, supportive culture, offering mentorship and long-term career growth.

Candidate Requirements

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
