Introduction
Our client is a hospital that provides care for cats and dogs, currently seeking a Medical Director to lead their team. This role offers an opportunity to combine clinical practice with leadership in a full-service animal care center.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It is closed on Sundays. The position is open to either full-time or part-time availability.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will be responsible for both leadership and clinical duties, spending 6080% of their time delivering patient care. Responsibilities include examining, diagnosing, and treating patients medically and surgically, operating medical equipment, prescribing medication, and maintaining communication with clients regarding patient care, treatment plans, and follow-up. This position is available to experienced veterinarians only.

Practice Details
The practice is a full-service animal care center committed to providing convenient, high-quality care to every pet. Services offered include treatment of common urgent cases such as wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Specific equipment and accreditations have not been detailed.

Team
The hospital team includes three DVMs and a great team of support staff.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
