General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital focused on the care of cats and dogs, currently seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team.

Working Hours / Rota
This full-time role follows the hospitals schedule, with hours on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The hospital is also open every other Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with weekend duties rotating accordingly.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will handle full general practice responsibilities, including wellness and sick exams, surgery, dentistry, and diagnostics. This position is open to experienced veterinarians who are comfortable managing a broad spectrum of cases in a general practice setting.

The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and offers a range of services including wellness and sick exams, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and more. The practice manages a general companion animal caseload in a well-supported and modern clinical environment.

The practice is supported by a great team of support staff. The working environment is collaborative, with a strong focus on providing quality care to patients and supporting experienced veterinarians in their daily responsibilities.

Candidate Requirements

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
