Our client is a multi-doctor small animal hospital providing care exclusively for cats and dogs. They are currently hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and closed on Tuesdays and Sundays, allowing for flexible scheduling. This Associate Veterinarian role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with flexible scheduling to accommodate different availability.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for general practice duties including diagnostics, treatment, and preventive care. Candidates should be proficient in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry. Daily responsibilities include performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating diseases, and offering preventive care based on the pets signalment, lifestyle, and environment. Surgical responsibilities include both routine and complex procedures such as spays/neuters, abdominal exploratories, mass removals, and comprehensive dental procedures including radiographic evaluations. While experience is preferred, new graduates seeking mentorship are encouraged to apply.

Practice Details
This is a full-service hospital offering vaccinations, routine wellness checkups, treatment for illness and injury, imaging, surgery, dentistry, and prescription medications. The hospital is well-equipped with ultrasound in every location, heated hydraulic surgery tables, and DDXR technology.

The hospital operates as a collaborative multi-doctor practice supported by a tenured and experienced support team. The work environment emphasizes mentorship and skill development, with support staff encouraged to develop specialties in areas such as dentistry and nutrition.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
