Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is closed on weekends, promoting a healthy work-life balance. The position is open to both full-time and part-time applicants, with flexible scheduling options available to accommodate individual needs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will be responsible for all typical GP duties and responsibilities, including general medicine, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. This role involves working with small animals, exotics, and pocket pets. Medical autonomy is supported, empowering the successful candidate to lead their cases and collaborate effectively with the team.

Practice Details
The hospital has been AAHA-accredited since 1993 and is fully equipped with state-of-the-art tools, including a complete Idexx in-house laboratory (CBC, Sedivue, chemistry), digital radiography, therapeutic laser, Doppler ultrasound, and Ellman radiosurgical equipment. Services provided include routine care, in-house diagnostics, ultrasound, surgery, internal medicine, dentistry, radiology, and boarding. The practice maintains a diverse caseload and is designed to deliver both routine and complex care efficiently and effectively.

Team
You would be joining a 4-DVM team supported by dedicated, experienced support staff. The environment is collaborative and mentoring-focused, with a strong emphasis on team cohesion, mutual respect, and continuous improvement.

Candidate Requirements

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
