WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
The team at C.C. Veterinary Hospital is excited to offer this opportunity to a recent graduate! We're looking for someone that's:
- A devoted and skilled veterinarian with a strong passion for delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring that vet visits are calm and enjoyable for their patients.
- A collaborative team member who enjoys working with others and mentoring fellow staff, while remaining open to receiving feedback.
- A professional dedicated to continuous growth , always striving to stay in-the-loop with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide routine wellness exams and diagnosis
- Perform medical procedures such as vaccinations, dental procedures, soft tissue, orthopedic surgery, and necessary diagnostics
- Administer and accurately monitor controlled substances
- Maintain and complete patient records
- Serve as mentor to technical support staff
- Build and establish rapport with the client base, demonstrating exceptional bedside manner and communication
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an AVMA accredited Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program
- Licensure in the state of Indiana or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start
- Strong proficiency in medical knowledge and surgical skills
- Exemplary professionalism and communication skills with both team members and clients
- Strong decision-making and time-management skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
