About Us

VSSG is a boutique small animal surgical specialty practice located in scenic Hood River, Oregon. We specialize in advanced surgical services and rehabilitation for dogs and cats, and we are known for providing exceptional, compassionate care. We serve a broad region, receiving referrals from:

• The Columbia River Gorge
• Tri-Cities (WA)
• Portland metro area
• Salem and Eugene (OR)
• Vancouver and Seattle (WA)

What You'll Do:

• Assist in surgical and specialty procedures
• Support patient recovery and rehabilitation
• Collaborate closely with veterinarians and support staff
• Deliver excellent customer service and compassionate care
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment

What We’re Looking For

• Certified or Licensed Veterinary Technician (new grads welcome!)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for high-quality patient care
• Eagerness to grow professionally and contribute to a team
