General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client provides mobile veterinary services in central Florida, and is currently seeking an experienced At-Home Euthanasia Veterinarian. This unique and compassionate role focuses on delivering peaceful, dignified end-of-life care for pets in the comfort of their homes. While the service currently caters to small animals, it is open to expanding to other species depending on the veterinarians interests.

Working Hours / Rota
While specific hours are not provided, the structure of the role ensures that no more than five appointments are conducted per day. This scheduling approach allows for flexibility and emphasizes quality over quantity, enabling each family to receive the care and attention they need.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves leading in-home end-of-life and quality-of-life assessments with empathy and professionalism. The veterinarian will guide families through aftercare options, provide grief support, and manage the respectful transport of deceased pets. Due to the sensitive nature of the work, the role requires prior experience and a high level of emotional intelligence, especially in navigating family dynamics during times of loss.

Team
Although you would report into a Medical Director for the local area, you would be attending the visits solo.
