The Department of Radiology at the Stanford University School of Medicine has an excellent opportunity for a compassionate Veterinary Research Technician to support all aspects pertaining to animal research studies conducted at the Lucas MRS Imaging Center and other Stanford Hospital/medical school facilities. The primary purpose of this position is to partner with numerous principal investigators to support all aspects of their animal research within the department of radiology. Knowledge of university and federal humane animal compliance regulations is required as is the ability to impart this knowledge to all researchers in a manner that is clearly understood. AALAS (American Association of Laboratory Animal Science) certification will be required within two years after hire date. Basic knowledge of MRI and fluoroscopy operation and safety-related issues is desired. Must be able to work flexible hours as need to meet schedule demands.
