Reports maintenance needs. * Maintain accurate documentation of all processes, inventories of consumables and equipment processing supplies. * Maintain working knowledge of and comply with all relevant safety procedures, RSF Standard Operating Procedures and Material Safety Data Sheets. * Participate in safety program and Safety Improvement Team, participate in First Alert Team (optional). * Be able to receive and process incoming murine models and supplies using the data management system, and may transport models within the RSF and to the SSF facility. * Assemble caging supplies with properly sterilized consumables and water in a manner that assures they remain sterile throughout the handling process. * May provide guidance and training to new processing technicians. * Performs routine procedures on laboratory models according to the AVMA guidelines. * Comply with RSF and regulatory policies as well as standard operating procedures. * Other job duties as deemed necessary by management.
