Job Title: Veterinary Technician (Client Advocate)
Company:
Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Description:
This is NOT Your Typical Technician Opportunity. You MUST Read On? Animal Emergency Care Centers (AECC) was established in Colorado Springs, Colorado to provide the highest quality veterinary emergency and critical care services available. AECC is looking for experienced technicians who have a passion for enhancing the human- animal bond in an emergency setting. Since its inception, AECC and its affiliated practices have become leaders in advancing veterinary emergency, critical care and pain management. Given our tremendous success and rapid growth, we are looking to expand our services to the community and provide a new kind of specialized client care. We call this position the ?Client Advocate.? Our community is a diverse one in which clients expect a level of care for their pets similar ? if not better ? than what they have become accustomed to for themselves. The Client Advocate Technician will serve as a triage nurse, provide pet owners with information regarding the condition of their pet while in our care, educate owners about their pet?s medical needs as well as the doctor?s medical care plan, and provide support during a potentially difficult decision-making process. In short, this is one of the most important positions in the hospital. As such, client advocates will be compensated accordingly! This is NOT an entry level opportunity. It is one that requires a high degree of technical knowledge AND client communication skills. If you?re interested ? and talented ? in fostering good client relations in an emergency and critical care setting, this is an opportunity you must consider. Benefits? We offer a very competitive salary, fantastic health insurance plans, IRA/profit sharing, generous CE allowance, professional dues, and paid leave. We?ve also worked hard to foster a healthy and fun work environment: our recent staff outings have included trips to amusement parks, white water rafting on Colorado?s Arkansas River, and ski outings to various Colorado resorts.
