Sr Lab Animal Tech (0803550) Company: University of New Mexico Location: Albuquerque, NM Description: Position SummaryThe person in this position under general supervision, provides routine husbandry care for a variety of animal species in accordance with established SOP's and protocols. Cleans and sanitizes animal cages, water bottles, sipper tubes, carts and related equipment. The Sr. Lab Animal Tech provides routine veterinary care including daily observation of animals to assess their health and welfare, treatments as prescribed and participation in projects as needed. Provide specialized care in the BSL-III suite and insectory following Biosafety procedures.
